The 2022 Iowa Instructional Camp for 1st-4th Graders

The 2022 Iowa Summer Instructional Camp for 1st-4th Graders is an excellent opportunity to come and fly around with the Hawkeyes. The purpose of this camp is to help players develop in all areas of the game of baseball. Development is a process, and we put development as our number one priority. The Iowa Summer Instructional camp will focus on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running.

The campers will be divided by age to be situated within their age and skill level. Each Camper will receive an Iowa Hawkeyes baseball t-shirt.  Spend the day with the Iowa Hawkeyes Baseball coaching staff, along with current and former players. This camp will be held right on Duane Banks Field, Home of the Iowa Baseball Team. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, develop and fly around the Hellerball way.

Summer Camp Details

Dates: Tuesday, July 12th 

 Time: 1:00pm to 4:00pm

 Locations: Duane Banks Field 

 Grades: 1st to 4th

 Cost: $120

 Registration Deadline:  July 6th

Camp Limited to 140 kids

Each Camper must bring their baseball equipment, including a glove, bat, helmet, hat, running/turf shoes, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete.

Participants should wear baseball pants during the camp. Catchers must bring their gear.

The University of Iowa Baseball program will not be responsible for lost items.

Iowa Baseball Camps are open to any and all participants, limited only by number, age, level, and/or gender, as required by NCAA rules.
